Abstract: This talk will explore the world of deepfakes: what they are, how they work, and why they have become one of the most debated technologies in recent years. Starting with a brief personal introduction, we will review the motivations behind their creation and the different types of attacks that can arise from them. We will also analyse the main tools and technological evaluations. Finally, the main lines of research in the thesis will be discussed.
