Abstract: This talk is based on the Physionet Challenge 2021, in which participants aim to design and implement an algorithm capable of automatically identifying any cardiac abnormalities present in electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings with 12, 6, 4, 3, and 2 leads. The talks cover how the challenge metric works, provides a description of the database and explains the models of the first two winners. Several CNNs have been implemented, which improved the baseline score and came close to achieving the winner’s results.
